Understanding the risks of opioid use and knowing where to turn for help can make all the difference. SPUSD is dedicated to equipping our community with the tools and information needed to protect our youth and promote wellness.
Through education, awareness, and access to resources, we aim to empower students, families, and staff to make informed choices and take proactive steps toward a healthier future. By working together, we can reduce the stigma around seeking help, recognize the signs of substance misuse early, and foster a supportive environment where every student can thrive, be safe, be healthy, and drug-free.

As part of our commitment to student health and safety, Santa Paula Unified School District is providing important information about the risks associated with opioid use and misuse—especially for student-athletes who may be at increased risk due to injury and recovery.
