Isbell Modernization Project

An architect has been retained to lead SPUSD through the programming phase for either a new facility or the modernization of the existing two-story building.  If retained, the existing two-story building has seismic issues that will need to be rectified.  Programming efforts include public outreach (both surveys and public meetings) and gathering input from all District stakeholders, including students, parents of students, site staff, and District personnel.  The architect provided an update to the School Board on June 28, 2023, and the programming phase will continue until the District selects a conceptual design that best works for the Isbell Middle School campus.
