Isbell Interim Housing Project

The Board awarded a contract to 19six Architects in November 2020 to design interim housing (portable classrooms) at Isbell Middle School.  This interim housing will be used to house staff and students  during the modernization of the main building on campus.  The interim housing design consists of sixteen 24'x40' classrooms, one 24'x40' classroom space for a library, a portable restroom building, and a 36'x40' administration building.

Construction efforts began on November 3, 2025.  Underground utilities were installed at the building pad area in February 2026, and the entire building pad area was paved during the second week of March 2026.

The project's next phase is scheduled for summer break 2026, which will include the installation of a new parking lot at the southeast corner of the Isbell campus.
