McKevett Electrical Upgrade

McKevett Elementary School Electrical Upgrade Project

The electrical service at McKevett Elementary School was upgraded to a 1,200A service, and the site's two existing, smaller services were eliminated.  The upgraded service provided the necessary capacity to add air conditioning to the site.

Construction efforts began in October 2021 .  Much of the project was completed during the summer of 2022, and SCE energized the new service in February 2023.   The project was completed in April 2023, and twelve new classroom air conditioners were summarily installed thereafter!
