annual update- for New and Returning Students
We are excited to welcome students back for the 2026-2027 school year! The first day of school is on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. In order for your student to begin the new school year, all parents/guardians must complete the “Annual Update” process before the new school year begins. This process applies to both new and returning students.
All new students who have never attended school in SPUSD will complete the “Pre-enrollment” process prior to completing the Annual Update.
Annual Update: Applies to both new and returning students.
Pre-enrollment: Applies only to students who are new to our school district.
Instructions for Completing the Annual Update for New and Returning Student Enrollment
1. Go to https://spusd.vcoe.org
2. Login to Parent Connection with your pin and password. If you do not have this information, please call your school site to obtain your pin and password.
3. Once you successfully logged in and can see your child’s profile, click on the tab on the top right that is labeled: Annual Update, then click “edit” next to the text in red.
4. All fields in yellow need to be updated.
5. When everything is successfully updated and entered, the red text colors will turn to green and will allow parents to submit their registration.
For any questions related to the annual update process or pre-enrollment, please contact your child’s school site. School offices are now open and staff are ready to provide support if needed.
